Privacy policy

Five Spice Inc., doing business as Five Spice Indian Grocery, operates this service. Email [email protected] or write to 680 River Oaks Pkwy, Ste P, San Jose, CA 95134 for privacy, billing or account help.

• Account and contact details: phone number, sign-in identifier, business name, contact name, email and optional business website.
• Advertising: uploaded artwork, event details, requests and messages, approval status, subscription choices and screen play counts.
• Billing: billing address, payment and subscription identifiers, card brand, last four digits, expiry, transaction status and records of your consent, typed electronic signature, legal company or organization name, signer role and the agreement version you accepted. Full card numbers and card security codes are entered into Square’s secure form and are not stored by Five Spice.
• Service and security data: IP addresses, browser or device information, request logs and sign-in/security events handled by us and our infrastructure providers.

We use this information to sign you in, manage and display advertising, verify and process payments, keep billing and consent records, provide support, send service notices, prevent fraud and maintain the site. We use screen playback records to report how often an ad appeared; these are not shopper view counts. Required billing and service notices are separate from optional marketing.

We share information needed to provide the service with Square for payments; Google/Firebase for sign-in, storage and hosting; Cloudflare and Amazon Web Services for delivery, security and infrastructure; and Brevo for transactional email. Remote fonts are served by Google. These providers may process technical data when their services load. Payment wallets also involve Apple or Google under their own privacy policies.

Artwork, business details included in that artwork, and event information you submit for publication are shown publicly on store screens. Your account password/code, billing address and full payment details are not published in your ad. We may disclose records when required by law, to respond to lawful requests or to protect the service and its users.

Sign-in and payment providers use cookies or similar technologies for authentication, fraud prevention and payment processing. The site uses browser storage to remember sign-in and advertising setup progress. Blocking these technologies can prevent sign-in or checkout. We do not currently add advertising-network trackers to the advertising workspace. Third-party services may collect usage information under their own policies, including across sites using those services.

This site does not currently change its behavior in response to browser Do Not Track signals. That statement does not limit any privacy rights that apply by law. Contact us about applicable opt-out requests.

You can correct business contact details in My account. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your information, or ask about rights available under applicable privacy laws. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We retain account, transaction, security and support records as needed for the service, tax/accounting, disputes and legal obligations. Automatic-renewal consent records are kept for at least three years and at least one year after termination, whichever is longer. Some records or backups may remain after an account or campaign ends for these purposes.

Canceling a subscription stops renewal; it does not itself delete the account. A deletion request does not replace canceling a subscription. Use the online cancellation button to stop renewal immediately, and contact us separately about deletion.

The advertising account is intended for adults authorized to act for their business or organization. If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact us. We publish changes to this policy here with a new effective date and provide additional notice where required.
